NamesAndSpace operates a basic webmail system that is available for use by all NamesAndSpace hosting customers with POP3 mail accounts.  The Webmail facility is accessible from any computer connected to the Internet using a standard web browser like Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

This Webmail facility does not apply for users of enterprise mail solutions like Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino or Zimbra.

Accessing Webmail

To gain access, you will need your the username and password of the e-mail account you wish to access.  The username is your e-mail address (for example: test@namesandspace.net).  You should have your password on record, if not, you can reset it through the Hosting Control Panel.

Once you know the username and password, you can access N&S Webmail at http://mail.namesandspace.net.  Enter the username and password where prompted and then click on the Enter button to log in.

Limitations

There are a few limitations that should be noted when using Webmail.

• Webmail will only display message that are currently stored on our mail servers.  If you have already downloaded a message to your e-mail program (Outlook, Thunderbird etc), the message has probably been removed from our servers and so will not be accessible via Webmail.
• Any messages sent through Webmail will not automatically be copied to your mail program for future reference.  If you want to keep track of messages sent through Webmail, simply BCC yourself into all messages.
• ACS does not actively manage. maintain or monitor the Webmail service.  Use of the Webmail service is done at your own risk.
